About Gathering Of Tribes Borneo

Delve into the vibrant culture of Borneo while celebrating the art of capoeira while experiencing Sarawak’s food, culture, diverse heritage and more

About This Year’s Event

In a nutshell, it’s a chance for capoeiristas from all over the world to spend time together training, discussing, and sharing capoeira. This is the time of the year to get away from work and all other normal routines to the calm and chill Kuching city (the capital of Sarawak in Borneo) to unwind. We welcome all styles and levels of capoeira. If you enjoy training and meeting new people, this is definitely for you!

We will be having most of our activities at this amazing bamboo resort that is located approximately 45 – 60 mins drive away from Kuching city centre. With the following images you know what you need to bring along with you.  The organizer will share out a list of things to bring 1 month before the event via email to those who have registered for this retreat.
